Shelter KC Renovation

As part of a multi-phased project, Phase 1 of renovations was recently completed for Shelter KC. The renovated spaces included administrative and office areas, respite rooms, bathrooms, community space, and sleep rooms with StepUP beds. The facility was able to maintain 24/7 operations throughout the renovations with minimal disruption to services provided. Phase II will include an expansion which will allow the shelter to increase their capacity and serve more guests while providing services once they arrive at the facility. This expansion will include a new welcome center, chapel, fitness center, administrative area, community kitchen, and community space.
