Forge Construction was engaged by developer Somera Road to be the construction manager for the demolition and implosion of the nine-story building. The 114-year-old structure had been vacant since 2003 and was beyond repair. The implosion was part of a new redevelopment plan with housing, offices, and more in the West Bottoms.
